Las Vegas is centrally located to many popular nearby attractions in California, Utah, and Arizona.
Trips ranging from simple part day bus trips, to full blown, luxury excursions, by plane, helicopter or limousine depart from Las Vegas on a constant basis.
This video takes you to Zion National Park, a mere 2 hours away in scenic Utah, is a hands down favorite side trip for visitors to Las Vegas.
Your visit should include a stop at the beautiful visitor's center where there are many interesting and informative displays, both indoors and outdoors, and of course, souvenirs of all types are available.
The park itself is large but easily explored in a few hours, with beautiful, differing scenery at every turn of the road If you want, you can also take the free park buses to the interior of the park where the views are even more dramatic.
There's no gambling there of course, or anywhere in Utah, but you'll soon be back in Las Vegas, refreshed and invigorated, playing the slots, tossing the dice, or checking your hole cards, after a day of communing with nature.
Here's the Zion National Park website.
