WHY DO PEOPLE GAMBLE?
Why do people gamble? Why do you gamble? Should you even care about the motive?
There are many reasons why people do or don't do something, and I for one have always been fascinated with the "why" of things.
It's not that I feel that I need approval for anything I do, but I do like to know what it is that makes people tick, including myself.

Personally I think that any pursuit that isn't a requirement for life, or an obligation, is optional and therefore something we do to make us feel good.
If gambling is your thing, and you keep your outlays at a level you can safely afford, there's no harm done.
