Poker is many things to many people, but it is a competitive endeavor. Just as a boxer picks and chooses his opponents, the Poker player must pick from among the various tournaments. Different tournaments attract different kinds of players, and the smart Poker player enters the tournaments that attract players he or she plays best against.
