The country, indeed most of the world, may be mired in an ongoing economic downturn, but people love gambling and little by little the crowds are returning to Las Vegas.
It looks as if things are turning around here in casino city as statewide gambling revenue, the bulk of it being earned in Las Vegas, has seen a 17% rise in the past month.
Las Vegas has taken some severe body blows the past few years, but, like a good boxer, the city has counter punched its way back by lowering prices and offering better gambling odds and room deals.
