Visit a city within a city in Las Vegas.

You can stay in hundreds of places in Las Vegas, and you can gamble in even more. There are sights and attractions all over The Strip, some of which you won't have time to visit, but there is a casino I highly recommend you put on your list.

Now, I'm not recommending New York New York, for gambling, nor am I discouraging you from gambling there, but I do want to recommend it for its charm and ambiance.

There is no other place like it in Las Vegas and after a short while on the property you will feel as if you're actually in New York.

The outside features a huge replica of The Statue of Liberty, a pair of New York City fire boats, with active water cannons, and, yes, you can walk across the brooklyn bridge too.

There are small outdoor bistros, and a second floor balcony that provides panoramic scenes of The Strip that is a favorite tourist spot for photos, day and night.

Inside you'll find amazingly accurate reproductions of old time store fronts and residences, and more small bistros. There are even vents in the floor from which steam rises a la Manhattan sidewalks.

For the adventurous the entrance to the roller coaster is on the second floor and has a subway motif.

Needless to say the casino area is fully equipped so you can easily find your favorite games and slot machines.
