The JW Marriott, Las Vegas Resort, Spa & Golf, in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, must hold the record for the longest title of any Las Vegas Casino, but then it is a special property.

Located in the main golf course area of Las Vegas The Marriott was originally owned by a European investment group and was designed to cater to the golf crowd.

At that time, about 10 years ago, the property was known by a different name, and since then it has been bought, sold and renamed several times.

This latest incarnation seems to be a winning combination of concept and name and while golf still constitutes one of their major offerings the emphasis is on local and less lofty out of town patronage.

The property is located about 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, and is worth seeing because its European inspired architecture is quite unique and beautiful; and inside you'll find a medium sized casino area and several very good restaurants.

Next time you're in Las Vegas consider visiting the JW Marriott, Las Vegas Resort, Spa & Golf for a different gaming experience.
