The Plaza Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas is housed in what used to be an Amtrak train station. It's fairly sizable but pales by comparison to even the most modest of The Strip properties.
Still, as this video shows, it has all the amenities that any die-hard gambler could want and many people feel that places like this represent what Las Vegas was, and should be.
