This video gives you a look at the inside of The cannery Casino in North Las Vegas.

The Cannery is another "locals" casino with its own distinctive look and flavor and is loosely modeled on the actual "Cannery Row" area of California.

I tried out the buffet and found it to be OK. The selection was pretty good and although I obviously couldn't try everything, only because my wife put the brakes on me, what I did try was at least good.

The dinner menu had just started so everything was fresh and there was plenty of it. Dessert isn't really my thing but for those with a sweet tooth there was a pretty good selection.

I suppose for just under 20 bucks, including taxes, it wasn't too bad, especially for the big eaters who like variety, but I've had better, on The Strip, for the same price.

For a few bucks more the mega resorts offer a far wider selection with much greater quality IMHO.
