It should come as no surprise that many of Las Vegas residents are very much into gambling but what does surprise many people are the number of casinos that are designed with the "locals" in mind.
"The Cannery" is such a place, and was erected a few years ago to serve the now bustling population of North Las Vegas, which is an independent town adjacent to Las Vegas.
I had some business in North Las Vegas on Friday, and in response to some inquiries about areas near Las Vegas that are more affordable, I did this short video.
"The cannery" isn't on visitor's lists as a place to check out, but for those who like to gallivant, it does have a quaint charm similar to "Cannery Row" in Monterrey, California, which it mimics.
Here's an independent report on the property from "Cheapo Vegas".
