Las Vegas is sports crazy town and not just from a gambler's viewpoint.
Las Vegans love spectator sports and Mayor Oscar Goodman has been trying to attract a pro sports franchise to the city for years.
A sporting event that Las Vegas is particularly proud of is the Las Vegas Pioneer Bowl which takes place this year on December 22, at Sam Boyd Stadium.
This year's matchup features BYU's Cougars, who racked up an impressive 10-2 record thus winning the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) title, against the UCLA Bruins.
The new Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino is offering special room rates for this event so check out the deals and come on down to Vegas for some college football fun.
