As if life doesn't already have enough variables and unpredictable events, now you can add slot machines that change to other forms to the list, but it may not be a bad thing.
These slot machines are called "server based" and have already made an appearance here in Las Vegas.
The skinny on these machines is that casino management can, e.g., turn a machine from a quarter machine to a nickel machine, if they feel the clientele wants more of those.
Changes would not take place while someone is actively playing the machine.
