Many people swear they have a "system," for playing slot machines, or claim to "know" when a machine will "hit."
Here in Las Vegas, where slot machines are everywhere to be found, there are as many theories on how to play them, as there are players.
Well, OK, some people have great success on them, and nearly always end their gambling session with more coin than they started with. Obviously their "method" works, even if it's just scoping out the machines until one of them speaks to them.
