Ever wonder how someone decides to be a professional poker Player?
Jim Gibson, a relative newcomer to the world of professional poker, gave up the life of a "regular guy" to try his hand at various Las Vegas casinos and has shared his experiences with us.
Here's Jim's story as reported in the "News Times".

So are you ready to take the big step and become a pro poker player?
I think you better hold on to your day, or, night, job, or both, before trying anything that drastic. The odds of actually making a good living out of poker are against you.
However, there's nothing to stop you from knowing, and staying within your limits, and having a lot of fun with the game.
Come on out to Las Vegas and see if you're a talented amateur.
