PRIMM NEVADA CASINOS BOUGHT BY TERRIBLE HERBST

PRIMM NEVADA CASINOS BOUGHT BY TERRIBLE HERBST

Hardly a week goes by in Las Vegas when a casino doesn't change ownership, or at least become the object of a buyout offer.

As I previously reported, it's always wise to be aware of these changes because usually the new management team wants to impress its owners, and improved customer percs are usually the result.

Primm, Nevada, which used to be called Stateline, because it's on the border with California, is about a 45-minute drive from Las Vegas, on I-15 South.

There are 3 very popular casinos located there, each with its own distinctive flavor.

Well these three puppies were bought by "Terrible Herbst", a long standing Las Vegas business with a funny name, but with diversified holdings that are highly successful.

Besides Whiskey Pete's, which is pictured above in one of my lazy photographer drive by shots, there's Buffalo Bills, which boasts a really huge roller coaster, a small part of which is seen here,

and Primm Valley Resorts, which is a bit more sedate, so there's something for everyone.

There are also many designer outlet shops and other attractions in Primm which I'll cover in a future post.

Buses and private forms of transportation to Primm are available for those who don't arrive by, or rent a car. Many visitors love this place for more of a Wild West gambling experience and a look at a less populated part of the desert.

Oh, I remember this roller coaster. Do not ask me about any other things because I didn’t remember a darn thing about that trip. My memory has black out 2 hours after I’ve checked in at the hotel. But I do remember this roller coaster which had the privilege to made me sober for half an hour.
