NOT ALL LAS VEGAS GAMBLES ARE WINNERS
Filed in archive DINING/SHOPPING by jim on December 28, 2006

Despite many successes not every venture that's undertaken in Las Vegas is a winner.
A former, successful, Seagram's liquor executive saw what he perceived as a gap in the world's Liqueur
business, and he has gambled a million dollars of his own money on the development and marketing of a new product that has so far not produced a profit. After 2 years of taste testing his various concoctions, Frank Arcella settled on a blend that he felt was distinctly American in flavor, named it "Redcliff", and released it to the drinking class.
It hasn't met with very favorable reviews and one has to wonder if 2 years of drinking on the job may have dulled Mr. Arcella's senses to the point where he didn't made the best decisions.
Here's the Redcliff website.
