The football sort of bounced my way last weekend I went 2-1 and 1 push. Pittsburg and Dallas came through, Indy also won but tied with the points added, and my sentimental favorite team, Oakland, failed to cover by 1 point; I should have known that was a mistake.
The spreads are little wild this week. The Las Vegas casino sports books have more than a three point variance on many of the games so I'll split the difference and go with the average as a spread.
I like Green Bay, away, minus 2, at Minnesota. The Jets are a prohibitive 3 point favorite, away, at Buffalo. This pair of stinkers already has 5 losses between them, but I'll go with Buffalo, plus 3, at home. After 3 straight losses they're due, right?
I'll take a chance with Dallas, at home, minus 13, against winless saint Louis, and, Houston, minus only 3, away, at winless Atlanta should be a lock.
