Well the pros certainly treated me better than did the college teams last weekend; I went 6 - 0.
Could have been a fluke but we'll try to keep this going and turn it into a trend.
The New York Giants successfully defended their Super Bowl title with a win, the New York Jets won their first game under new, old, quarterback Brett Favre.
But the biggest news, and it's bad news, is that New England's superlative quarterback, Tom Brady, is out for the season.
It will be interesting to see if the Patriots can continue their winning ways without him. Remember that 7 years ago, Brady stepped in to take over from another injured top flight quarterback, Drew Bledsoe, and won 3 Super Bowls during the ensuing 4 seasons.
I'll try to keep the win streak going with:
Kansas City, at home, minus 4, over Oakland
Tennessee, away, plus 2, over Cincinnati
New York Giants, away, minus 9, over Saint Louis
Arizona, at home, minus 7, over Miami
Denver, at home, plus 2, over San Diego
Pittsburgh, away, minus 6, over Cleveland
Minnesota, at home, plus 2, over Indianapolis
Washington, at home, even, over New Orleans
Here's a pair of Las Vegas websites where you can check out the odds and point spreads for all the NFL games and see what propositions you like.
Have fun and good luck!
