The City of Las Vegas scored another big time event in its continuing quest to lay claim to the title of America's entertainment capitol.

Way off in September, Las Vegas will play host to the 2007 MTV Music Awards and you can read the press release here.

Once again, that hotbed of activity for the younger set, "The Palms Hotel and Casino" will play host to the event.

So, for gamblers who are also fans of celebrities this will be a good time to be in town, because you never know when you'll run into one.
