LAS VEGAS CENTRAL
by jim on November 26, 2006

It's said that if not for the San gabriel Mountains, Los Angeles would have expanded to present day Las Vegas.
As a long-term resident of Las Vegas I've watched the city grow in all directions, and currently the expansion is westward, along I-15 South, more or less in the direction of L.A.
Now, the whole concept of a mega L.A. is questionable since L.A. is hundreds of miles away, but there's no doubt that the two cities are developing some common traits.
As more Los Angelinos relocate to Vegas I notice an increase in the L.A. "car culture," that is highly modified "hot rod" type cars, "Low Riders" "High Riders," and everything in between. Californians do love their rides.
So it comes as no surprise that the "L.A. Times" has published an interesting article entitled "13 Things To Know About Las Vegas".

One of the must knows one shouldn't forget is the phone number or the website of a car rental company, cause a car is the best means of transportation on the Strip
