LET'S VISIT PRIMM NEVADA

It's a new year, so I'll try something new, video blogging; I hope you like it.

From time to time I'll post a video of different places in and around Las Vegas so you will have a chance to see some places that most visitors see and others that are known mostly to the locals.

If I can I'll take you inside some of the casinos but that's iffy because many casinos aren't very fond of videos being shot in the gambling areas.

For my first attempt I'll take you to Primm, Nevada, which is actually on both sides of the border with California.

There are 3 casinos on the Nevada side that are frequented by Californians who want to gamble, but not drive the additional 45 miles to Las Vegas. However, the big traffic comes from Las Vegas, where people like me invest in the California lotto, the tickets to which are sold in a small convenience store just inches over the border.

Hey, we all have dreams.

For the sake of accuracy I have to mention that in the video I referred to the "Fashion Outlets" as also being called the "Fashion Show Mall." That's incorrect, the "Fashion Show Mall" is a different place located in Las Vegas.

My wife enlightened me on this.

So, next time you're in Las Vegas you may want to make the trip to Primm to check it out, and gamble a bit on the California Lotto.
