Let's face it, in Las Vegas The Strip is where it's happening, but, even with a good hotel and casino deal it's still expensive during these tough economic times.
But you don't have to stay on The Strip in order to enjoy it; actually many visitors prefer a hotel that is off Strip, not only because of the lower cost, but because it is easier to get around without always having to negotiate Strip traffic.
