Besides the gambling and other casino action, there's always something going on in Las Vegas, for the visitor and residents.
With the super bowl just two weeks away, and with Nevada being the only state in which you can legally bet on sports, there's plenty of action and anticipation in the casino Sports books and sports bars.
Of course there's always the non-sports entertainment that Las Vegas is famous for too and this website will keep you up to date on the Las Vegas entertainment scene.
People find their way here in every imaginable way and although few in number backpackers are accommodated in Las Vegas.
On the lighter side check out this survey of resident Las Vegans views on pop culture in the "Great and Stupid" poll.
