This video was shot from the south end of the Las Vegas Strip across the street from the mammoth Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. Who know when building further south will commence but you can bet it will. Take a look at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip.
The Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino is a huge complex and can be seen from many miles away as one approaches Las Vegas via I-15, going north, from California..
"The Strip," for those of you who may not know, is actually "Las Vegas Boulevard," but, and I'll bet most of you are unaware of this, if you continue south, out of Las Vegas; it becomes "The Old California Highway."
For you history buffs, or for those simply interested in the various other names The Strip has been known by, and for a rundown on the fate of all the original Strip casinos, and some speculation as to how "The Strip" came to be named, check out this excellent reference.
