Always start your visit to Las Vegas Red rock National Preserve with a stop at the visitor's center.
As you'll see in this video the visitor's center has all sorts of useful information to help make your visit more fulfilling. The helpful Park employees can answer your questions and provide you with maps of the area. You can also pick up lists of upcoming events and activities that will take place at the center or elsewhere in the preserve.
The well stocked gift shop has items of all types in all price ranges, and for your convenience there are restrooms, water coolers, and benches both inside and outside the facility.
Red Rock is a great place to bring the kids as there is always something to see and do, both indoors and outside, as you'll see in their website.
