The Maloof family, owner of The palms hotel and Casino, as well as various other enterprises has upped their presence in Las Vegas by adding to their already successful property.

With all the new mammoth sized hotel and casino projects underway on the Las Vegas Strip most existing properties have or are undertaking steps to expand or upgrade.

The Palms Casino is not on The Strip, and yet it does as well, or better than the ones that are, but they're not resting on their laurels.

Maloof has struck back by opening the new condo-hotel,"Palms Place", with help from Ashlee and Jessica Simpson .
