Eight months after it opened, the "40/40 Club", located in The Las Vegas Palazzo Casino, has closed its doors.
The rented space for the venture, which was part of rapper Jay-Z's business enterprises, was sold back to The Venetian to make way for a large sports book complex.
The actual name, "40/40 Club", is wholly owned by Jay-Z, who owns several more clubs of the same name in various parts of the world.
The Palazzo Casino, which is attached to The Venetian Casino, does not have a sports book per se, but rather a small window where gamblers can place sports bets.
The new Palazzo Casino Sports Book will be a lavish lounge type area competitive with other of its ilk in Las Vegas.
