Here's some information about Las Vegas that isn't quite mainstream but just to show you that there's always something going on here besides casino gambling I'm letting you in on it.

There's never been a dearth of movies about Las Vegas and it looks like the next one out will be a winner. It's due out next year and stars kate bosworth, shown here, and Kevin Spacey and is named "21".

It's a true story about a group of MIT students who became blackjack experts and won millions from the Las Vegas casinos.

I'm familiar with the story and it is quite interesting. Anyway, for me, it's worth seeing if only because Kate Bosworth is in it.

Next up is something that's still fairly new here in Las Vegas, A Beatles Tribute "thing". I call it a "thing" because it's not a tribute band, or a commemorative show but rather a unique combination of Beatles music, derived directly from their master tapes, and a circus-like performance by the famous acrobats of "Cirque de Soleil".

The "thing" is staged at The Mirage and is called "The Beatles Love".

For those of you who are fans of ice skating, or Russian things, there's a new show at an old casino featuring both.

The show, "Ice: Direct From Russia", is at The Riviera.
