LAS VEGAS MAYOR WANTS MOB MUSEUM

I've always said you can find anything you want in Las Vegas, and now, the gambling capital of the world may soon boast of another one of a kind attraction.
Las Vegas mayor, Oscar Goodman, who has a way of getting his own way, is proposing the construction of a museum dedicated to the mob.
To my knowledge, this will be the first of its kind and Las Vegas is the obvious choice for it since the town was founded by persons of questionable character.
I like the mayor; shown here with two Las Vegas nurses, and I don't like many politicians, and even fewer lawyers, and he's both. But, agree with him or not he's a great mayor for Las Vegas, and, he speaks his mind, even if that sometimes draws negative reviews.
Last year, a 4th grader asked him, during an "ask the mayor" question session, what was the one thing he would want to have if marooned on a Desert island
. His answer of, "A bottle of gin," drew sharp criticism, mostly from those who complain about politicians being liars. What did they expect him to say, "My crayons?"
He's a forthright guy and says of his bid for a mob museum, "The mob founded Las Vegas, ... ...I represented them."
