LAS VEGAS IS STILL THE BEST BET

Casino gambling is spreading like wildfire not only in the USA but in the rest of the world
Negotiations are underway for a giant casino in England while the rest of Great Britain considers their options.
By now everyone knows that Macau, in The People's Republic of China, is fast becoming the Las Vegas of the East as casinos as being built at a record pace.
So with all this casino planning and building going on in the world, what place do the big boys, the money men, think is the best bet for gambling?
Big surprise, it's still Las Vegas.
This report from Reuters, states that Station Casinos is convinced that Las Vegas is still the premiere gambling destination in the world and will remain so.
The conclusion is backed up by the fact that some heavy duty financing has been granted to Station Casinos by lenders such as Bank of America.
This is significant because banks don't back losers and the fact that Station builds primarily "local's" casinos is evidence of the confidence the banking industry has in Las Vegas.
It's all good news for gamblers who will soon have an even greater choice available to them in Las Vegas. The Strip properties will have to be a bit more generous and offer better odds, improved comps, etc, in order to attract visitors who are starting to notice, and patronize the local's off Strip casinos.

As a big fan of food, and there I am at Station Casino's Red Rock Casino buffet, this renewed competition has certainly reaped a bounty for me. The buffets at the larger local casinos have gone way, way up in quality, and way down in price. They are also issuing more twofers which means that my wife can go too!
Station Casinos has been investing heavily in an image upgrade and it's paying off with increased traffic.

Las Vegas changes constantly, and whenever I think the building frenzy is nearing an end, announcements of even more amazing projects are released.
There are plans in the works for properties that will eclipse the already huge Strip mega resorts in ways you can't imagine.
Stay tuned for more reports.
