Betting on thoroughbred Horse racing is alive and well in Las Vegas and the Red Rock Casino has just scored a big win in that sport.

The Red Rock Hotel and Casino has entered an agreement with The National Thoroughbred Racing Association to host its annual Thoroughbred Handicapping Competition for the next several years.

This is the first time this prestigious event will be hosted by a non-Strip casino and could spell the start of a move to the west side of town for more of the much sought one off attractions.
