Las Vegas History

As does every other city in the world, las Vegas has a history; in fact there are several types of histories for Las Vegas.

Before Las Vegas became a gambling Mecca it was basically a stop along the way east and west for, of all things, water, a commodity that is now in short supply.

Early attempts to turn the area into a religious farming community didn't work out very well but did establish the area as a viable place to live.
