These days, when the word, Hilton, is in the news, it usually involves the hotel heiress Paris Hilton and the latest round of her public shenanigans.
But the Hilton name became famous many years ago when the patriarch of the family, Baron Hilton, got the whole Hilton Hotel thing started with the first of his many upscale hotels.
With the competition among the Las Vegas casinos reaching an all time high, and with so many new, extravagant hotel-casinos under construction, it's no surprise that the Las Vegas
Las Vegas Hilton put $100 million into a makeover.
All this is good news for the gambler because competition brings better deals for both hotel rooms and gambling odds.

It must look amazing for that amount of money, but indeed competition in the market is high. I wonder if there is more gambling now with the crisis and all. More people probably try easy ways to make some more money. Ive been to Las Vegas with Last Minute Travel and had a tour through all the hot gambling spots in Las Vegas- had a great time! But wouldn’t do ti myself.

Hilton is very strong in Las Vegas, as I would expect considering it is one of the majors in the hotel business worldwide. With the Hilton Las Vegas Hotel Casino Resort, Hilton is paying the right attention to this amazing entertainment city.

I’m going to have to check the prices at the Hilton. I haven’t been to Vegas in a few years. Hopefully the prices will be affordable with the unfortunate economic conditions. I really want to go this spring during the kids spring vacation.
