Despite being a relatively small town, Las Vegas, in the middle of the hot, dry Mojave Desert, attracts millions of visitors every year, so there must be a reason why.

Las Vegas is one of those places that cater to visitors. For that reason, even the cheapest and what the worst hotels are not even horrible. The same is true for Honolulu/Waikiki. Even the cheapy rooms are nice and clean and most come with those extra amenities without the higher costs.
