Las Vegas has only been in existence since 1905, and at that it wasn't much of a city until the gaming industry took hold in the 1940's.
However, this ever growing desert oasis is rich in history, myths, and legends, as you can tell from the "bio" you just read. Because of that many of the city's visitors like to take a step back in time and feel that they are experiencing part of its past.
