Here's something new in Las Vegas, time limits at some Casino buffets!
Imagine that, casinos are starting to limit the amount of time you can spend in their buffets to somewhere between 90 minutes and 2 hours.
Don't blame me. I know I eat a lot; but I'm quick. Now if they limited the weight of the food you can eat, rather than the allowable eating time, I'd be in trouble.
I'm not defending this but my hunch is that it's more a matter of cutting down the waiting time to get into these buffets. They are, for the most part, a very good value, and as such, quite popular, and the lines are very long at times.
I seriously doubt that they are trying to cut back on the amount of food consumed, because, let's face it, 2 hours, even 90 minutes, is a long time at the trough, even for someone like an Orson Wells.
Here's the story about the new "speed eating" fad at the Las Vegas casino buffets.
And, here's an up to date listing of Las Vegas casino buffets.
