BLACKJACK
by jim on March 30, 2008

There are rules changes being made to the game of Blackjack, or "21" in the Las Vegas casinos, and if this is your game you'll want to know about them.
Now this doesn't mean that you now must reach 22, or that you can't hit on anything above or below a certain card total, the actual game is unchanged, but what is changing is the way the house gets its "edge".
Here's what the Las Vegas casinos are doing to increase their edge in Blackjack.
This posting, in my other gambling blog, "The Gambling Weblog", reports on the virtual Blackjack video games that could eventually replace live dealer Blackjack.
The movie, "21", seems to have played a role in both the resurgence of Blackjack's popularity and the moves made by the Las Vegas casinos to increase the house odds of winning.

Casinos should treat card counters with love. Doesn't the bible tell us to do this? Counting cards in blackjack is just a method to win. What's not right about that? For those who want to win at BJ online see: http://www.webspawner.com/users/blackjacktips/
