It’s Concert Season In Las Vegas
Actually there are always concerts of one kind or another being performed in Las Vegas but during the summer we get more of the tours stopping here.
Tickets for concerts of any kind are expensive, even the reasonably priced ones, and if you're thinking New York or Los Angeles fuhgetaboutit. You need Donald Trump money and you still need an insider because nearly everything is sold out within the first few minutes of the box office opening.
Besides those places only have one big name concert going on at a time whereas here in Las Vegas we have several at any given time. Of course, unlike other most other cities Las Vegas has tons of other things to do before and after the concert.

My wife let me go out today; and I can tell you that traffic on some of the busiest streets was noticeably decreased. This is unusual for a Friday so it's obvious that business is down and that brings bargains.
With high gas prices and a declining economy prices are dropping here on everything from room rates and dining to golf fees and entertainment tickets.
