Betting on college basketball games is immensely popular in Las Vegas and the sports books are sharpening their pencils for the coming season.

The sheer number of teams, and games, combined with a long season, makes for unsurpassed opportunities for college basketball bettors.

Despite being 6 foot 2, which was tall in my time, I had a football mentality, so the finesse necessary for basketball was not part of my athletic arsenal.
