POKER UPDATE
by jim on November 4, 2006

As I predicted the online poker sites are starting to find ways around the USA's ban on credit card use for Internet gambling.
I don't know how well this scheme will go over but the "National League of Poker," is sponsoring a free, online Poker Tournament they're calling "Pigskin and Poker".
This is apparently more of a free contest in which participants earn points through Poker play and then are entered in contests that feature sizable prizes.
I haven't fully researched this thing but it might just be fun so if you're interested here's the link.
Have fun and good luck!

Funny, but I loved it. Keep it up! Just to let you know this: I ran into an exciting book: China and the new world order: how entrepreneurship, globalization, and borderless business are reshaping China and the world, written by the outspoken Chinese journalist George Zhibin Gu. It is a must read, for it has huge hot topics on global business, trade, jobs transfers and politics.

"With companies such as Party Poker abandoning the US market because of the recently passed Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, millions of poker players are looking for a new home," said Michael Clebnik, COO of Power Play. "Our hope is that they will join the tens of thousands that have already found NLOP."
