HIKING IN RED ROCK’S SANDSTONE QUARRY
It seems to me, from my latest observations in Las Vegas' Red rock Canyon, that there's a new breed of hiker, that I call, "Cell Phone Hikers."
I see that people who are laden with heavy backpacks walk along the trails while describing their experience over their cell phones.
This video gives you a look at the Sandstone Quarry area where this latest fad seems to most popular.
I suppose too that those hikers, who have camera phones are transmitting photos, and even video of their travels.
That sounds like fun, but I wouldn't want to pay the resulting phone bill!
There's a lot more to be seen than is shown in this and the other videos I've posted, but you have to hike in to this totally different world where there are wildflowers, flowing streams, and other sights you wouldn't expect.
