After gambling and possibly the las vegas shows there's no doubt that the Las Vegas restaurant scene is the next most popular attraction here.
The trendy night clubs and other watering hole type places sometimes indulge their guests with gourmet snacks and such but it's the specialty restaurants, particularly those with extensive wine lists that command the most attention.
Such is the case with Aureole, a now proven success, in a very competitive business.
Aureole features a unique "wine Cellar" with is actually a 4 story tall Plexiglas tower in which a harnessed "Wine Angel" travels up and down retrieving exotic vintages.
My wife and I, seen above at Aureole shortly after its opening, were friends with the very first "Wine Angel", and were treated to examples of the restaurants offerings.
Next time you're visiting Las Vegas check out Aureole or one of the many other upscale restaurants.
