It looks as if all the warnings we got years ago about "subliminal messages" being imbedded in movies, TV shows and other media may have been ahead of their time.
The Canadian casino, Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, has removed Las Vegas made slot machines that flash a positive gambling message, in the form of a winning Poker hand, just as the machine is played.
Sounds like a variation on Norman Vincent Peale's, "Power of Positive Thinking", to me.
Meanwhile, subliminal messages aside, slot machine makers continue cranking out new machines designed to offer the slot player a wider variety of slot machines on every machine to keep you from wandering around the casino searching for a different type of play.
