The grand canyon is much closer to Las Vegas than most people think and is an extremely popular place for gamblers to go to chill out a bit after breaking a casino's bank.
There are trips of all kinds available and you have your choice of busses, limos, helicopters, and airplane flyovers. There are also multi-day excursions that combine different modes of travel so you can view this area by air and from the ground.
