GOING TO DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS

Source:www.jimippolito.com

This video takes you on a quick jaunt along the upper reaches of The Las Vegas Strip, to the Downtown area, starting at Clark, and ending on Main Street. Yes like most towns, Las Vegas has a Main Street.

You get a quick look at part of the Federal Courthouse, the original Las Vegas "School", from the days when Las Vegas had only a "school", another Federal building, and then we enter the very popular "Downtown" district.

Again, I have no idea why this part of town is deemed Downtown, when in fact it is north of the main part of the city, and IMHO, should be called Uptown.

Anyway, for those of you who will be visiting Downtown Las Vegas, home to the famous Fremont Street this is what you'll see shortly after you pass The Stratosphere.

Here's a link to a report prepared by a visitor about some of Downtown Las Vegas' attractions.
