GILCREASE NATURE SANCTUARY IN LAS VEGAS

Here's something I just discovered, The Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary, located in the extreme northern part of Las Vegas.
This video truly shows you that indeed anything is possible in Las Vegas, even a wildlife preserve, complete with a sizable pond loaded with duck and all sorts of winged creatures that this city boy wouldn't dream of trying to identify.
What a racket these birds make, I wonder what it is they're saying to each other.
Anyway, the Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary is only about 30 minutes or so from the north end of The Strip, and it's worth a visit, especially if you brought the kids along.
