GETTING CLOSER TO PREHISTORIC LAS VEGAS

This video gives you a close up look at the Calico Hills of Red Rock National Preserve in Las Vegas.
What you see is the view from the second observation point along the preserve's 13 mile, one way scenic route.
There is a trail that leads down to the base of the mountain, just as there is for the previous stop. You can enter caves that were once inhabited by ancient native americans and are decorated with Petroglyphs and pictographs.
