There's always something new in Las Vegas; and while some attractions may not provide the excitement of a casino in full swing they provide an interesting and relaxing change of pace.
There's a move afoot in Las Vegas to make the city the furniture capital of the country and the Mayor, Oscar Goodman, has been successful in attracting some of the furniture industry's companies to open facilities here.
Non casino business openings may not sound very exciting but it does create jobs which is always welcome. Because of that people who want to move here to take advantage of the gambling opportunities but prefer not working in a casino will have alternatives.
Now there's a big show in town, through the end of the year that features italian furniture. The show is free and is called "Design Italiano" so while you're here take it in.
