College Football Week Five

Source:www.bands.lsu.edu

Last weekend proved to be as tough as I expected with most games, when the spread was taken into account, were virtual ties.

Wisconsin didn't cover the spread, they missed by 4, penn state lost outright by 5, Buffalo got creamed, and only Tennessee came through covering with 2 to spare.

As a result I went a dismal 1-3 which brings my season total to .500. OK, so no money is lost, but no money is gained either.

This weekend looks equally tough but let's try to make it a winner.

Penn State at Illinois interests me. The spread on this game ranges from 3 to 5½, let's take it at minus 3.

Florida, at home, is giving 19 points to Auburn. These SEC games are usually close, but I think Florida has something to prove, so I'll give them the nod.

Texas, at home, giving 14 to Kansas State should work for Texas, and let's take high scoring Cincinnati, away at San Diego State, giving 14.

Here's this weeks college football odds from the "VegasInsider", and "College Football Locks".

Check for yourself and see what you think. Have fun and good luck!
