I give up; this is the most unpredictable college football season I can recall.
Except for Ohio State, no one seems to want the top spot, or anything even close to it.
Last week's tally was another embarrassing 1 and 3. notre dame
seems to have forgotten how to play football and lost to visiting Navy for the first time in 44 games, effectively snapping the longest running NCCA winning streak against a single team.Wake Forest let me down by 1 point, and Boston College proved they weren't yet ready for prime time. Or, could it be that Florida State is better than we thought?
Oh well, it's all for fun, so nothing was actually lost except for pride.
Kansas, away, is only giving 5 points to Oklahoma State. I have to believe that Kansas will win this one handily, so I'll go with them.
Washington's losses were at the hands of some good teams; then again Oregon State is pretty much in the same boat. I think visiting Washington has the edge with 6 points, so I'll give the Huskies a try.
Louisiana Tech is 4-5, but they haven't lost really big, even to some pretty good teams so I'll take them, plus a whopping 36 points, away at LSU.
And, finally, let's try Hawaii, at home, minus 17, against Fresno State. Hawaii has an unbeaten record on the line and a shot at a BCS game and should be up to the task.
Here's this weeks college football odds from the "VegasInsider", and "College Football Locks".
Check for yourself and see what you think. Have fun and good luck!
