COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 12

Rutgers won again 2 weeks ago but failed to cover the spread.
There were two reasons for that, a number of players were either dismissed or suspended prior to the game, and a serious blunder during the game led to a 14 point swing. Without that mistake Rutgers would have won by 25 points rather than 11 and easily covered.
This week The Scarlet Knights are in the game of their lives as they take on undefeated Louisville and we'll find out if they're for real.
They're at home and have had time enough to recover but their offense hasn't impressed me lately. The defense is solid and has accounted for a lot of their scoring.
Rutgers is a 6 point favorite but from the way Louisville has been able to run up the score in most of its games I suggest that if you want to bet on Rutgers you better hope they win the game outright.
Elsewhere in college football we have some interesting matchups such as Tennessee, plus 5 1/2, at Arkansas. I'd be awfully tempted to go with The Volunteers if I were a betting man.
notre dame
, Minus 11, at Air Force, do the handicappers know something that's not out in public? That spread seems a bit thin for a team whose only loss was to Michigan, versus a team with not much going for it.Here's how the big Las Vegas bookies see Saturday's games.
Have fun and good luck!
